Erbert & Gerbert’s Deals & Coupons 2026
Looking for Erbert & Gerbert’s deals and coupons? The best one is the Rewards app sign-up offer: join, make your first purchase, and you get a free sandwich. There is also a free birthday sandwich with a registered Sandwich Society card, a buy-10-get-one-free deal, and app-only promos throughout the year. Right now there are no public Erbert & Gerbert’s coupon codes, so don’t trust random code sites.
I’ve eaten my way through more sub shops than I can count, and Erbert & Gerbert’s is one of those quiet Midwestern gems that flies under the radar. Fresh-baked bread, hand-sliced meats, soups that actually taste like soup. It’s been around since 1988, and honestly, the deals are better than most people realize. If you haven’t browsed the full Erbert & Gerbert’s menu with prices yet, start there so you know what’s on offer, then come back here to pay less for it.
Here’s the thing: this chain doesn’t play the “clip a coupon” game. The real Erbert & Gerbert’s deals and coupons live inside their app and their Sandwich Society loyalty card. I looked into every angle, and this guide covers all of it.
How Do You Get a Free Sandwich From Erbert & Gerbert’s?
The headline deal is simple: sign up for the Erbert & Gerbert’s Rewards app, make your first purchase, and you earn a free sandwich. It’s the official sign-up offer the chain has been promoting, and it stacks with everything else below.
How the Rewards App Works
Download the Erbert & Gerbert’s app from the App Store or Google Play and sign up for Rewards before your first visit. Once you’re in:
| Rewards Perk | What You Get |
|---|---|
| Sign-up offer | Free sandwich after your first purchase as a new member |
| Points | 1 point for every dollar you spend |
| $5 reward | Unlocked every time you hit 50 points |
| Birthday treat | A birthday offer when your big day rolls around |
| App-only promos | Limited-time offers pushed to members throughout the year |
One catch worth knowing: these deals vary by location, since most shops are franchises. If something doesn’t show up in your app, your local store may just not be participating. Annoying, I know, but it’s the reality of franchise deals.
What Is the Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Society Card?
The Sandwich Society card is the old-school loyalty card you can ask for at the counter, and it still works. It gives you a free sandwich during your birthday month and a free sandwich after every 10 sandwich purchases (buy 10, get the 11th free). Longtime fans will remember the “try all the sandwiches” challenge too, which has earned regulars a freebie over the years.
To get the birthday freebie, register the card online and tie it to your birthday. Then just use the card when you order in your birthday month, and one sandwich gets comped automatically. No voucher to print, no code to type, no fuss. That’s my favorite kind of deal.
Can you use both the card and the app? In practice, pick the one that fits you. The app is where the new-member free sandwich lives, while the Society card shines for the birthday freebie and the punch-card style buy-10 deal. If your store offers both, the app is usually the better long-term bet because of the points.
Are There Any Erbert & Gerbert’s Promo Codes Right Now?
Short answer: no. Coupon trackers currently show zero active public promo codes for Erbert & Gerbert’s, and that has been the case for a long stretch. This chain just doesn’t distribute site-wide codes the way some bigger sandwich brands do.
Be careful with Google results promising “Erbert & Gerbert’s coupons” for this month. In my experience, most of those pages either list expired offers or push you toward unrelated coupon extensions. If a code isn’t on erbertandgerberts.com or in the app, treat it as a rumor.
What’s the Smartest Way to Save at Erbert & Gerbert’s?
Want to stack your savings like a regular? Here’s the playbook:
Money-Saving Tips
1. Join the app before your first visit. Don’t wait until you’re standing at the counter. Sign up at home so your first purchase already counts toward the free sandwich.
2. Ask for a Sandwich Society card. It costs nothing, and the birthday freebie plus buy-10 deal are pure profit for regulars.
3. Register your birthday early. Birthday offers usually require registration ahead of time, so don’t try to sign up on the day itself.
4. Turn on app notifications. The app-only promos are where surprise deals show up, and they can be short-lived.
5. Check your local store. Erbert & Gerbert’s deals near me vary by franchise, so glance at your local shop’s socials for store-specific specials.
6. Compare value before you order. Browse the Erbert & Gerbert’s menu with prices ahead of time so you know which sandwiches give you the most food for your dollar.
And if you’re planning your visit around a schedule, it’s worth checking Erbert & Gerbert’s Working Hours first, since hours differ quite a bit between locations.
