Zippy’s Deals & Coupons 2026
Zippy’s deals and coupons in 2026 mostly live inside the chain’s own Zipster Rewards program: a free regular Chili with Rice after your first purchase, a free bakery item on your birthday, and 10 Zipcoins for every dollar you spend. On top of that, Zip Meal Deals, daily specials and one-day events like the famous $5.99 Chili with Rice are the everyday ways locals save.
If you’re coming here for menu prices first, start with the Zippy’s menu with prices, then use this guide to pay less for it.
How Do Zippy’s Deals and Coupons Work in 2026?
Zippy’s deals and coupons don’t work the way you might expect. There is no standing promo code you can type in at checkout, and the coupon aggregator sites listing codes like “TAKE10” or “EXTRA10” for Zippy’s are mostly showing unverified or expired codes. The honest answer? Zippy’s runs its savings through its own channels.
Your main paths to paying less are: the Zipster Rewards loyalty program, Zip Meal Deals that bundle your plate into a better value, daily and monthly specials posted on zippys.com, and one-day events the chain announces on its social channels. That mix covers almost everything.
The Quick Version
No public coupon codes. Join Zipster Rewards (it’s free), always check the daily specials before you order, and order Zip Meal Deals instead of single plates when you’re feeding more than one person. That’s the whole playbook, and it genuinely works.
What Is Zipster Rewards and Is It Worth Joining?
Zipster Rewards is Zippy’s official loyalty program, and yes, it’s absolutely worth joining because it’s free and the perks start fast. This is the closest thing Zippy’s has to Zippy’s coupons, and it’s the real deal because it comes straight from the chain itself.
Here’s what members get, per Zippy’s own rewards page:
- Free Regular Chili with Rice after your first purchase as a Zipster Rewards member
- Free single bakery item on us for your birthday
- 10 Zipcoins for every $1 you spend, redeemable toward future orders
Note: points can’t be earned on gift cards, merchandise, alcohol, tax, service fees, holiday meal packages or catering products.
How do you sign up? Download the Zippy’s app, register, place an order, earn Zipcoins, then redeem rewards with a tap. The app and order.zippys.com also show daily and seasonal specials. If you eat at Zippy’s more than a couple of times a year, the Zipcoins alone add up to real money: a typical $16 plate lunch earns 160 coins.
What Are Zippy’s Zip Meal Deals?
Zip Meal Deals are Zippy’s built-in bulk savings, and they’re the most underrated deal on the menu. Instead of ordering one plate, you upgrade to a Zip Meal that bundles multiple servings: rice and macaroni salad alongside a big portion of your chosen entree. It’s designed for families and small groups, but couples use it too.
You’ll see the Zip Meal Deal listed right on the menu board next to items like Bucket Chicken (9 pieces), Bucket Chicken (15 pieces) and Barrel Chicken (21 pieces), each with its own bundle add-on price. The pattern is simple: the more people you’re feeding, the more the per-person cost drops compared to ordering separate plates.
Does Zippy’s Have Birthday Freebies and Holiday Deals?
Yes on both counts. The Zippy’s birthday freebie is baked into Zipster Rewards: members get a free single bakery item for their birthday. That could mean a warm malasada (that soft Portuguese-style donut Zippy’s is famous for), an ube ensemada, a napple or whatever catches your eye in the bakery case. Just make sure you’re signed up ahead of time.
Zippy’s holiday meal deals show up around the big holidays. Zippy’s takes pre-orders for holiday meal packages (think Thanksgiving and Christmas spreads), and early-bird ordering has historically come with preorder discounts. Holiday meal packages are excluded from earning Zipcoins, so treat those as a straight discount play rather than a rewards play. Watch zippys.com and the app in November and December, because that’s when these offers appear.
And then there are the one-day stunts. On February 26, 2026, Zippy’s sold its famous Regular Chili with Rice for just $5.99 at takeout (limit 5 per customer). Deals like that are announced on Zippy’s social pages, so following them is genuinely one of the best Zippy’s coupons strategies: be in the loop when a flash deal drops.
How Can I Save Money at Zippy’s Without Coupons?
No coupons in hand? No problem. Here are the moves that actually save money at Zippy’s:
Real Zippy’s Money-Saving Tips
- Order the daily specials. Zippy’s posts daily and monthly specials priced below the regular menu. Always check zippys.com before you go.
- Use the Combo / Zip Deal / Super Zip Deal on burgers and sandwiches. A bundle add-on costs far less than ordering the side separately.
- Go mini. Mini versions of popular plates (Mini Chicken Katsu, Mini Hamburger Steak, Mini Fried Chicken) run several dollars less and are plenty for a lighter appetite.
- Hit the bakery strategically. Malasadas and jin dui are cheaper by the dozen when you’re bringing treats for a group.
- Order ahead in the app. Zippy’s digital ordering shows rewards and daily specials before you pay, so you never leave savings on the table.
- Follow Zippy’s on social media. Flash one-day deals (like that $5.99 Chili with Rice) are announced there, not on coupon sites.
