Wetzel’s Pretzels Working Hours 2026

Wetzel’s Pretzels working hours are Monday through Saturday 10am to 9pm, and Sunday 11am to 7pm, at most of the chain’s 340+ locations. Because almost every shop sits inside a mall or food court, the exact opening and closing times follow mall hours and can shift a bit from store to store.

I’ll be honest: there is no single nationwide timetable, and that’s the one thing that trips people up. I looked into this across dozens of locations, and here’s the thing, Wetzel’s Pretzels is a mall chain first. Most shops open when the mall opens and close when it closes. So while the menu is the same everywhere, the working hours move with the shopping center.

If you’re planning a pretzel run after a movie or on a weekend, a quick check of your local store beats guessing. And while you’re at it, browse the full Wetzel’s Pretzels menu with prices so you know exactly what to order when you get there.

What Are Wetzel’s Pretzels Working Hours?

Most Wetzel’s Pretzels stores open at 10am and close at 9pm Monday through Saturday. That’s the pattern you’ll see at the majority of mall locations, and it lines up with standard shopping mall operating hours.

A handful of malls trim midweek hours, so the table above is the most common version, not a promise. And if you’re wondering about Wetzel’s Pretzels hours on Saturday specifically, good news, Saturday is the most reliable day of the week. Doors open at 10am and the ovens stay hot until 9pm.

Is Wetzel’s Pretzels Open on Sundays?

Yes, Wetzel’s Pretzels is open on Sunday at nearly every location, typically from 11am to 7pm. Sunday is the shortest day of the week because malls themselves open later and close earlier.

One tip: aim for the afternoon on Sundays. Popular items sell out late in the day, and some stands start winding down before closing.

Is Wetzel’s Pretzels Open on Holidays?

Wetzel’s Pretzels holiday hours follow the mall calendar. The chain closes on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Easter Sunday, and runs reduced hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Every other federal holiday is business as usual.

The three closures are the ones that catch people off guard: Wetzel’s Pretzels Thanksgiving hours are a hard no (closed all day Thursday, November 26, 2026), and Wetzel’s Pretzels Christmas hours mean a closed store on Friday, December 25. Malls shut down on those days, so the pretzel stands go dark with them. Everything else, July 4th cookouts, Labor Day sales, Memorial Day weekend, you can count on your pretzel fix.

Why Do Wetzel’s Pretzels Hours Vary by Location?

Because nearly all 340+ Wetzel’s Pretzels shops are mall kiosks or food court stands, each store sets its hours to match its mall. That’s really the whole story.

Franchisees don’t pick opening times in a vacuum, they follow the mall’s schedule. Standalone and outlet locations can drift even further, and airport shops are a world of their own, sometimes opening as early as 7am for travelers.

The 10am to 9pm pattern covers the vast majority of stores, but the only hours that matter are your store’s. When in doubt, check before you drive.

How Can I Check My Local Wetzel’s Pretzels Hours?

The fastest way is the official store locator on wetzels.com, which shows each store’s address, phone number and today’s hours. It takes about thirty seconds.

Google Maps is the backup I use most, honestly. Search “Wetzel’s Pretzels near me hours” and the listing shows whether your store is open right now, which beats reading a table of generic hours. The Wetzel’s app works too, and it doubles as the ordering and rewards app. And if it’s a holiday, just call the store. One two-minute call has saved me from more than one locked-mall parking lot.
