Moe’s Southwest Grill Working Hours 2026
Most Moe’s Southwest Grill locations are open daily from 10:30 AM to 9:00 or 10:00 PM, and Moe’s Southwest Grill hours stay consistent on weekends too. They’re closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday, but open on nearly every other holiday, sometimes with shorter hours.
Planning a burrito run? Here’s the thing: I looked into Moe’s hours across the country, and the chain runs on a pretty predictable schedule. Most stores open their doors at 10:30 in the morning, seven days a week. The catch? Moe’s is almost entirely franchise-run, so closing times drift from place to place. Before you head out, check the full Moe’s Southwest Grill menu with prices to plan your order, then confirm your local store’s hours below.
What Are Moe’s Southwest Grill Hours?
Most Moe’s Southwest Grill locations open at 10:30 AM every day and close between 8:00 and 10:00 PM, with Friday and Saturday usually running the latest. That’s the pattern you’ll see at the majority of the 600-plus US locations. Here’s the typical breakdown:
| Day | Typical Opening | Typical Closing |
|---|---|---|
| Monday – Thursday | 10:30 AM | 9:00 – 10:00 PM |
| Friday | 10:30 AM | 10:00 PM |
| Saturday | 10:30 – 11:00 AM | 10:00 PM |
| Sunday | 10:30 – 11:00 AM | 8:00 – 9:00 PM |
Honestly, the 10:30 AM opening is the one thing that’s nearly universal. Moe’s doesn’t do breakfast, so don’t roll up at 9 expecting eggs. Closing time is where things get fuzzy. I saw everything from a 10:30 AM to 10 PM seven-day operation in Pensacola, Florida, to a 10:30 AM to 9 PM schedule in Mobile, Alabama, with an even earlier 8 PM Sunday close. A Durham, North Carolina spot opens at 10 AM and stays open until 11 PM on weeknights. Point is: your local Moe’s sets its own pace, and Moe’s Southwest Grill hours can shift a full hour or two in either direction.
What Time Does Moe’s Open on Sunday?
Most Moe’s locations open at 10:30 AM on Sunday and close earlier than on weekdays, usually between 8:00 and 9:00 PM. If you’re searching for Moe’s Southwest Grill opening hours on Sunday, that’s the quick answer. But a few things worth knowing.
Some stores push the Sunday opening to 11:00 AM, and a handful trim the evening down to 8 PM. College-town locations tend to stay open a bit later, while suburban spots close earlier. Sunday catering is still a thing at most locations, just place your order ahead of time since the kitchen winds down sooner. If Sunday is your usual burrito day, the official locator (more on that below) is your best friend.
Is Moe’s Open on Holidays?
Moe’s is open on most holidays, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Christmas Eve, but closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Easter Sunday. The holiday calendar is actually one of the more generous ones in fast casual. Here’s the rundown:
Open on These Holidays
New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Good Friday, Cinco de Mayo (aka Cinco de Moe’s), Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Halloween, Veterans Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve. Expect possible reduced hours on these days, many locations open late or close early.
Closed on These Holidays
Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
The big three closures are Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Everything else? They’re generally open, though I’d call ahead on the day itself. Franchise owners sometimes trim a couple hours off the schedule around major holidays, and Moe’s Southwest Grill holiday hours can differ from what Google Maps shows. A quick phone call saves you a wasted trip.
How Do I Check My Local Moe’s Hours?
The fastest way is the official Moe’s restaurant locator at locations.moes.com, which lists each store’s exact hours, address, and phone number. Just type in your city or zip code and pick your location.
Google Maps is fine for a quick glance, but franchise-run stores don’t always update their Google listing when hours change, so the official locator wins on accuracy. You can also place an online order right from moes.com, and the ordering page shows whether your location is currently open. One more tip: Moe’s caters a lot, and catering pickup windows sometimes run outside normal dining hours, so if you’re ordering for a party, ask about that separately.
