Habit Burger & Grill Working Hours 2026
Habit Burger & Grill is typically open daily from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM. That is the standard across most of its nearly 400 US locations, including weekends. This guide to Habit Burger working hours covers weekdays, Sundays, holidays, and drive-thru hours. Actual closing times vary by location, with some stores shutting at 9:00 or 9:30 PM, and most locations close on Christmas Day.
If you have ever rolled up to a Habit craving a Double Char only to wonder whether they are still serving, you are not alone. I looked into this, and honestly the answer is simpler than you might expect. Habit Burger working hours are refreshingly consistent compared to a lot of fast food chains. Most stores run the same schedule all seven days, and the brand’s own press announcements list daily 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM hours for new restaurant openings.
That consistency matters. When you check the full Habit Burger menu with prices, you can pair the menu with these hours and plan your visit without any guesswork. Let me walk you through weekdays, weekends, holidays, and the drive-thru situation.
What Are Habit Burger Working Hours on Weekdays?
On a typical weekday, Monday through Friday, Habit Burger & Grill opens at 10:30 AM and closes at 10:00 PM. That is the standard for most locations, especially newer ones.
But here is the thing: older or mall-adjacent stores sometimes close earlier. Plenty of locations list 9:30 PM as closing time, and a few shut down at 9:00 PM on weeknights. Why the range? Franchise locations set their own closing times, and stores in shopping centers usually match the mall’s hours. The good news is the opening time is nearly universal: 10:30 AM is the number to remember everywhere.
Are Habit Burger Working Hours Different on Sundays?
Habit Burger opening hours on Sunday are the same as the rest of the week: 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM at most locations. Unlike some chains that run reduced Sunday hours, Habit generally does not bother with a separate weekend schedule.
Still, “generally” is doing some work in that sentence. Some stores do close earlier on Sundays. One spot might run 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM on Sundays while staying open until 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Mall food court locations are the biggest exception, since they follow mall hours that can shorten on Sundays.
My advice? Sunday is actually a great day for a Habit run. The lines are usually shorter than Friday nights, and the full menu is available all day.
Does Habit Burger Serve Breakfast?
No, Habit Burger does not serve breakfast. Doors open at 10:30 AM, which is lunchtime in all but name. There is no morning menu, no breakfast burrito, no egg sandwich hiding somewhere on the menu.
Honestly, this is one thing I appreciate about the brand. They are not pretending to be something they are not. They do charburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and shakes, cooked to order over an open flame, and they start doing it at 10:30 in the morning and do not stop until closing. If you show up at 10:35, you can get anything on the regular menu. No waiting for a lunch switchover like at some burger chains.
Habit Burger Holiday Hours: Is Habit Burger Open on Christmas?
Is Habit Burger open on Christmas? No. Most Habit Burger & Grill locations are closed on Christmas Day. This is the one holiday you can count on them shutting the grills down, like most US restaurant chains.
Habit Burger holiday hours for the rest of the year are friendlier. The brand generally stays open on Thanksgiving Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, usually on regular hours. New Year’s Day is typically open, though sometimes on a slightly adjusted schedule.
Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are the days to watch. Many locations operate reduced hours on both, often closing early in the afternoon or early evening. If you are planning a holiday visit, the brand’s official website and Google Maps both show location-specific holiday schedules in December.
What About Habit Burger Drive Thru Hours?
Habit Burger drive thru hours are the wildcard. Not every location has a drive-thru at all, so the first question is whether your store even offers one. The ones that do generally match the restaurant’s regular hours, opening and closing with the dining room.
Here is what is interesting, though: many Habit locations do not have a traditional drive-thru and instead offer a mobile pickup lane, available through the Habit mobile app or order.habitburger.com. Newer restaurants in particular lean toward this setup, with self-serve kiosks inside and pickup lanes outside. The hours for pickup lanes follow the restaurant’s posted hours.
How Hours Can Vary by Location
Quick recap of the moving parts, because “it depends” deserves specifics:
Why your store might differ
Closing time: 10:00 PM is the brand standard, but 9:30 PM and 9:00 PM closings are common, especially at older stores.
Mall locations: These follow the mall’s hours, which can mean earlier closes and shorter Sunday hours.
Franchise discretion: Individual owners can adjust hours for local demand, staff, or regional rules.
New openings: Brand-new restaurants often launch with the full 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM schedule.
The fastest way to nail it down is the official Habit Burger website or a Google Maps search for your specific restaurant. Both show current hours and holiday adjustments.
Prices last verified: October 12, 2026. Hours verified against Habit Burger & Grill’s official site (habitburger.com) and brand press announcements as the source of truth. Individual store hours vary, so confirm with your local restaurant before visiting.
