Graeter’s Ice Cream Deals & Coupons 2026
Graeter’s ice cream deals are real, and honestly the best one is free. Join the free Sweet Rewards loyalty program and you can earn free scoops, grab a birthday treat, and get first dibs on events like Cones for the Cure, which handed members a free Elena’s Blueberry Pie scoop in 2026. Online, new email subscribers get $5 off nationwide shipping. Search for graeters ice cream deals and you’ll find plenty of coupon sites, but most of those codes are dead, so stick to the real ones below.
Here’s the thing about Graeter’s: it’s premium French Pot ice cream, so you’re never going to see 50%-off fire sales like a fast food chain. The savings come through the loyalty app, seasonal events, and shipping promos on graeters.com. I looked into every current way to save, so let’s walk through all of them. And if you haven’t seen the full Graeter’s Ice Cream menu with prices yet, check that first so you know what everything costs before hunting for discounts.
What is the Graeter’s Sweet Rewards program?
The Sweet Rewards program is Graeter’s free loyalty program, and it’s the single best Graeter’s ice cream deal available. You earn points on every purchase at participating scoop shops just by scanning your phone in the app, and those points turn into free treats and member-only offers.
Signing up takes about a minute in the Graeter’s app (Apple App Store and Google Play). Once you’re in, you get a birthday reward, exclusive promotions that never go public, and mobile ordering so you can skip the line at busy shops. Honestly, if you visit Graeter’s more than twice a year, not being a member is just leaving free ice cream on the table.
One more perk people forget: Sweet Rewards accounts can be linked by phone number, so even if you forget your phone, your scoop shop can still find your account at the register.
Are there any Graeter’s promo codes or coupons right now?
Yes, but with a caveat. Graeter’s runs most of its promo codes through its online store at graeters.com, not the scoop shops. Coupon aggregator sites regularly list Graeter’s ice cream coupons like 10% off sitewide and occasional deeper discounts on shipping orders, though these change constantly and many are affiliate links that may not work at checkout.
The most reliable online code I found: new email subscribers get $5 off nationwide shipping just for joining “The Inside Scoop” email list, which is a straight-up deal with no games. Graeter’s also periodically marks down specific treats on its site, like the 20% off Salted Caramel Chip Wheelies promotion spotted in 2026.
How can I get free Graeter’s ice cream?
There are three legit ways to score free Graeter’s, and two of them happened in 2026. The biggest: Cones for the Cure ran July 30 through August 9, 2026, and Sweet Rewards members received a coupon for a free single-dip sugar cone of Elena’s Blueberry Pie ice cream. The flavor honors Elena Desserich, the inspiration behind The Cure Starts Now, and the event raises money for pediatric brain cancer research. The free scoop requires no purchase, though donations are encouraged.
Second: National Ice Cream Day. For the 2026 celebration, Graeter’s offered a $1.56 single-dip sugar cone in scoop shops (a nod to the brand’s 156th year) plus 10% off online shipping orders with the code ICREAMDAY10 from July 17-19.
Third: your birthday. Sweet Rewards members get a birthday reward loaded to their account, which regulars use for a free scoop or sundae. Shops also hand out samples freely, so never be shy about asking to taste a flavor before you commit.
Does Graeter’s offer online shipping deals?
Graeter’s ships its ice cream nationwide from graeters.com, and this is where the coupon hunting actually pays off. The headline deal is $5 off your first shipping order when you join the email list. From there, watch for seasonal promos: summer and holiday gifting periods regularly bring 10-20% off select collections, and gift cards (including corporate bulk orders of 10+) make easy presents that never melt.
Shipping ice cream isn’t cheap, so stack savings: sign up for the email list before your first order, check for current collection discounts, and time big orders around National Ice Cream Month (July) when the deepest promos tend to land. Note that online promo codes don’t work in scoop shops, and in-store offers don’t work online. They’re two separate worlds.
What are the best ways to save at Graeter’s year-round?
Beyond the big events, a few habits keep your Graeter’s habit affordable. Always scan the app, points add up fast if you’re a regular. Follow @Graeters on social media, since Bonus Flavor drops and flash offers get announced there first. Visit during National Ice Cream Month in July, when the calendar is packed with events. And buy pints at the grocery store for home; a pint of Black Raspberry Chip from the freezer aisle costs a fraction of what you’d pay per scoop at the shop.
