Einstein Bros Bagels Deals & Coupons 2026

Einstein Bros Bagels deals start with the free Shmear Society Rewards program: sign up and you get a free Bagel & Shmear, earn points on every order, and unlock rotating member offers like a birthday treat and weekly discounted bagel deals. Check your app before you order, since most savings live there now, not on paper coupons.

Here is the thing. Einstein Bros does not run one giant permanent sale. Instead, it layers a few small perks that add up fast if you actually use them. If you want the full picture of what to order, start with the Einstein Bros Bagels menu with prices, then come back here and stack the savings.

What Is the Best Einstein Bros Bagels Deal Right Now?

The best Einstein Bros Bagels deal for most people is the Shmear Society Rewards signup perk: a free Bagel & Shmear when you join. It costs nothing to sign up, and it lands in your account as a reward you can redeem with a purchase. After that, the best ongoing value comes from the rotating member offers inside the app.

Do not expect a single coupon code to cover everything. Einstein Bros leans on app-based rewards, in-bakery promos at new locations, and weekday bundles like the Baker’s Dozen. Check the app the morning you plan to go, since offers refresh and expire.

How Does Einstein Bros Bagels Rewards Work?

Einstein Bros Bagels Rewards, known as Shmear Society Rewards, is the chain’s loyalty program. You sign up with your name, email, birthday, and zip code, then earn points on purchases that you can redeem for food and drinks at participating locations. The app also handles order-ahead pickup, so you can pay in the app and skip the line.

How to get the most out of rewards

First, turn on app notifications. The best offers are short-lived, and you will miss them if you only open the app at the counter. Second, check the rewards tab before you build your order. Third, use order-ahead when an offer says it requires it, since a few perks only unlock on app or online orders.

What Einstein Bros Bagels Coupons Can You Actually Use?

Einstein Bros Bagels coupons today are mostly app-loaded rewards, not printable codes. Third-party coupon sites list plenty of codes, but many are expired, unverified, or tied to one location. If a code is real, it will usually show up in your own rewards account or on the official Einstein Bros site.

That said, a few coupon-style offers do show up regularly. New bakery openings often run a free egg sandwich with any purchase for a limited window, with an in-bakery promo code printed on the announcement. Catering orders sometimes carry a discount at a minimum spend. And the app regularly drops member-only deals that load straight to your account. When you see an Einstein Bros Bagels promo code online, check the fine print: the channel (app, online, in-bakery), the dates, and whether it stacks with rewards.

How Do You Get a Free Bagel on Your Birthday?

Einstein Bros Bagels birthday free bagel perks go to Shmear Society Rewards members who have their birthday saved in their profile. The birthday reward has taken different forms over time, including a free Bagel & Shmear during your birthday month and a free egg sandwich with a purchase. The exact birthday offer can change, so make sure your birthday is entered correctly well before your birthday month starts.

When your birthday window opens, you should get an email or app notification with the reward. Open the app, confirm the reward is sitting in your account, and redeem it at a participating location before it expires. Birthday rewards are typically valid for a limited window, often around two weeks. If nothing shows up, check your spam folder first, then confirm your birthday is actually saved in your profile.

How Can You Save on a Baker’s Dozen and Catering?

The Baker’s Dozen is the classic Einstein Bros value play. Mondays have historically featured a discounted Baker’s Dozen, often priced around $9 for 13 fresh-baked bagels, though the exact price and day can vary by location and over time. If you are feeding a family or an office, that bundle beats buying bagels one at a time by a wide margin.

Catering is the other place where the math gets friendly. A bagel box with shmear covers a crowd for far less per person than individual orders, and catering orders have sometimes carried their own discount at a minimum spend. If you are ordering for a meeting or a party, compare the catering box price against buying a Baker’s Dozen plus tubs of shmear separately.

Quick money-saving tips

Order a Baker’s Dozen instead of singles when you need more than a few bagels. Grab the rewards coffee perk when it is active. And always peek at the app’s offer tab before checkout, because a reward you forgot about might already be sitting there.

Are There Einstein Bros Bagels Deals Near Me?

Yes, but they vary by location. Most Einstein Bros Bagels deals run at participating locations, and franchise bakeries can opt out of some offers. New locations run their own grand-opening promos, and some offers only apply to order-ahead or in-bakery purchases. Before you drive over, confirm the offer in your app with your usual location selected.

Hours matter too. Most bakeries open early and close in the early afternoon, so a lunch-run deal does you no good if your location shut at 2 p.m.
