Black Rock Coffee Bar Working Hours 2026
Here are the Black Rock Coffee hours most locations keep: Monday through Friday the doors open at 5:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM, while Saturdays and Sundays open between 5:00 and 6:00 AM with the same 7:00 PM close. Times vary a little by store, and every location shuts down for Christmas Day.
Honestly, nothing is worse than pulling up to your favorite coffee spot and finding the lights off. I looked into this so you don’t have to guess. Black Rock Coffee Bar is one of those early-morning lifesavers, most stores are pouring by 5:00 AM, which is perfect for commuters. Below you’ll find the typical daily schedule, weekend hours, holiday exceptions, and drive-thru details. Planning your caffeine run? 🕔 What Are the Black Rock Coffee Hours on a Typical Day?
The short answer: 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM is the standard across most Black Rock Coffee Bar locations. This is a drive-thru-heavy chain built for early risers, so they open way earlier than most sit-down coffee shops and wrap up in the early evening.
| Day | Typical Hours |
|---|---|
| Monday | 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM |
| Tuesday | 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM |
| Wednesday | 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM |
| Thursday | 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM |
| Friday | 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM |
| Saturday | 5:00 / 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM |
| Sunday | 5:00 / 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM |
Now here’s the thing, not every store follows this to the letter. Some locations stay open until 8:00 or even 9:00 PM, especially in busier markets. A few stores open at 6:00 AM instead of 5:00 AM. That’s why the “5 to 7” pattern is the best rule of thumb, but always worth a quick check before you go.
🌅 Is Black Rock Coffee Open on Weekends?
Yes, Black Rock Coffee is absolutely open on weekends, and honestly the weekend lines can be longer than weekday ones. Weekend hours look almost identical to weekdays at most stores: 5:00 or 6:00 AM opening, 7:00 PM close.
The one difference worth knowing: some locations open a bit later on Sundays, usually 6:00 AM instead of 5:00 AM. If you’re checking black rock coffee hours before an early Sunday road trip, don’t just assume 5:00 AM. A quick look on Google Maps or the store locator will save you a wasted drive.
Saturday is typically the busiest day of the week for these drive-thru lanes, so if you can swing it, ordering ahead in the app cuts the wait way down.
🎄 What Are Black Rock Coffee’s Holiday Hours?
Holidays are where things get unpredictable, so let me break down the usual pattern. Most Black Rock Coffee locations stay open on minor holidays but close for the big two.
| Holiday | Typical Status |
|---|---|
| New Year’s Day (Jan 1) | Open, some stores open later (~7:00 AM) or close early |
| MLK Day / Presidents’ Day | Open, regular hours |
| Memorial Day | Open, reduced hours at some locations |
| Independence Day (Jul 4) | Open at most locations, check your store |
| Labor Day | Open, reduced hours at some locations |
| Thanksgiving Day | Closed at most locations |
| Christmas Eve (Dec 24) | Open, closes early (often mid-afternoon) |
| Christmas Day (Dec 25) | Closed at all locations |
| New Year’s Eve (Dec 31) | Open, regular hours at most locations |
Is Black Rock Coffee open on Christmas? No, that’s the one day you can count on being closed. Grab your peppermint mocha on Christmas Eve instead, stores open at the regular time but usually shut down by mid-afternoon. Thanksgiving is nearly the same story, most locations close so the crew can be home with family.
Pro tip: in the week leading up to any major holiday, Google Maps usually shows the special holiday hours right on the store’s listing. That’s honestly the fastest verification there is.
🚗 Do Black Rock Coffee Drive-Thru Hours Differ From In-Store Hours?
No, drive-thru hours generally follow the exact same schedule as in-store hours, including during holidays. Most Black Rock Coffee locations are built around the drive-thru window anyway, it’s kind of their whole thing.
Fun fact: the chain has even been opening drive-thru-only stores in some markets, no walk-in seating at all. At those spots the drive-thru IS the store, so the posted hours are all you need.
Either way, ordering ahead in the Black Rock Coffee app or online and rolling through the drive-thru window is the move. The posted black rock coffee hours apply to both the window and the counter, so there is no separate schedule to memorize.
📍 How Can I Check Black Rock Coffee Hours Near Me?
Since hours vary a bit from store to store, here’s the fastest way to confirm your local shop’s schedule:
1. Google Maps: search “Black Rock Coffee near me”, tap your store, and the Hours section shows the full week, often with holiday hours during festive weeks.
2. Official store locator: the locations page on the brand’s official website lists each store with its hours and drive-thru availability. Use it as your source of truth.
3. The Black Rock Coffee app: rewards members (“bolts”) can check store details right in the app while ordering ahead.
4. Call the store: the national line is (833) 843-5776, but honestly a quick call to your specific location settles everything.
