Taco Bell Secret Menu Working Hours 2026
Wondering about Taco Bell working hours? Most restaurants open at 7:00 AM and close at midnight Monday through Thursday and Sunday, with Friday and Saturday hours running until 1:00 AM. The drive-thru usually stays open later than the dining room. Taco Bell closes on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day at most locations.
I’ll be honest, nothing’s worse than pulling up to Taco Bell at 11:30 PM and finding a dark parking lot. I’ve been there. So I looked into the actual Taco Bell working hours, not the guesswork version, and here’s what you can count on. And if you’re going anyway, check the Taco Bell Secret Menu first, because the real fun starts when you know exactly what to order.
What Time Does Taco Bell Open and Close?
Most Taco Bells open at 7:00 AM every single day and close at midnight Monday through Thursday and Sunday, with Friday and Saturday closing pushed to 1:00 AM. That’s the typical pattern across the chain’s 7,500-plus US restaurants.
Here’s the thing though. Taco Bell is almost entirely franchise-owned, so the schedule at your corner store can drift from the pattern. Some suburban spots open at 8:00 AM. Some busy city stores keep the lights on until 2:00 or even 3:00 AM. Treat the table below as the baseline, then confirm your exact store before a late-night run.
Typical Taco Bell Weekly Hours
| Day | Typical Hours | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 7:00 AM – 12:00 AM | Breakfast 7:00 – 11:00 AM |

| Wednesday | 7:00 AM – 12:00 AM | Breakfast 7:00 – 11:00 AM |

Does Taco Bell Serve Breakfast, and When Does It End?
Yes. Taco Bell serves breakfast from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at participating locations, and the regular taco menu kicks in at 11:00 AM. If you want a Breakfast Crunchwrap, set your alarm.
A few locations start as early as 6:30 AM, and a handful cut breakfast off a little before or after 11:00 AM depending on how busy they are. Once breakfast ends, the full lunch and dinner menu runs all the way to closing, so you can still grab a Crunchwrap Supreme at 10:45 PM without anyone batting an eye.
How Late Is the Taco Bell Drive-Thru Open?
The drive-thru typically runs one to two hours later than the dining room, often until 1:00 AM or later on weekends, and a handful of locations stay open 24 hours. This is the single most useful thing to know about Taco Bell working hours.
Why the split? The lobby usually winds down around 10:00 or 11:00 PM because it takes fewer people to run a drive-thru lane than a full dining room. So if you roll up at midnight and the inside looks dark, don’t give up. Loop around to the drive-thru, because odds are it’s still serving. Some high-traffic stores near highways, college campuses, and airports push drive-thru service to 2:00, 3:00, or even 4:00 AM, and a select few never close at all.
Is Taco Bell Open on Holidays?
Taco Bell is open on most holidays with regular or slightly reduced hours, but most locations close completely on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Mark those two down.
Every other major holiday, you’re probably fine. Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, Veterans Day, and Columbus Day all run on normal hours at most stores. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are the tricky ones, since many lobbies close early, sometimes between 6:00 and 9:00 PM on Christmas Eve, while the drive-thru keeps going a bit longer.

How Do I Check Taco Bell Working Hours for My Location?
Use the official Taco Bell store locator at locations.tacobell.com or Google Maps, since franchise owners set their own hours and holiday schedules can change them. This takes about 30 seconds and beats driving across town for nothing.
Just punch in your ZIP code in the locator and you’ll see today’s opening and closing times for the nearest stores, including drive-thru specifics. Pro tip: if you’re already on the road, the Taco Bell app shows hours and lets you order ahead for drive-thru pickup. And if a holiday is coming up, a quick call to the store saves you the guesswork entirely.
