Smashburger Working Hours 2026

The short version: most Smashburger restaurants open mid-morning and close at 10:00 PM. That 10 AM to 10 PM window is the pattern you will see at the majority of locations across the United States. But Smashburger is largely franchised, and franchise owners set their own schedules, so your neighborhood spot might run a little earlier or later.

Some locations shift that window. A few open at 11:00 AM and close at 9:00 PM on weekdays. Others, like some suburban stores, close at 9:30 PM Monday through Thursday and stretch to 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Airport and mall locations play by their own rules entirely, often opening earlier or closing with the terminal or mall.

Weekends are where things get a little more generous. Many locations keep the same 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM schedule on Saturday and Sunday, but high-traffic city restaurants often stay open later on Friday and Saturday nights, sometimes until 11:30 PM. Sunday hours, on the other hand, can run shorter at some franchise spots, with a 9:00 PM close.

So what time does Smashburger close near you on a Saturday night? Honestly, it depends on the store. A downtown location with foot traffic will almost always outlast a quiet suburban one. If you are planning a late-night run, check the exact closing time before you go, because that last half hour is when kitchens start winding down and the grill may already be off.

No, Smashburger is closed on Christmas Day at nearly all locations. That is one of only three days most stores shut completely. The other two are Easter Sunday and Thanksgiving Day. Every other major holiday, Smashburger is generally open, though many locations run reduced hours.

Is Smashburger open on Christmas Eve? Yes, most locations open on Christmas Eve but close early, so plan for lunch rather than a late dinner. And if you are asking whether Smashburger is open on Thanksgiving, the answer is no at most stores, so make other plans for that turkey-day burger craving. Smashburger holiday hours always come with a catch, though: franchise locations set their own holiday schedules, and a quick phone call beats any online guess.

The fastest way to check Smashburger hours near me is the official store locator on smashburger.com. Type in your ZIP code and you get your closest restaurants with their exact daily hours, phone numbers, and whether they offer dine-in, drive-thru, takeout, or delivery. Google Maps works too, and it shows live “open now” status plus busy-times data, which is handy on weekends.

Smashburger Drive-Thru Hours

Does your Smashburger have a drive-thru? Many do, and the drive-thru generally follows the same hours as the dining room. A few locations keep the drive-thru lane open a little past the dining room close, but that is the exception, not the rule. When in doubt, call the store. The staff can tell you in ten seconds whether the lane is still serving, and that beats sitting in a dark drive-thru lane wondering.

One more tip from experience: hours listed on third-party delivery apps can lag behind reality. If an app says a location is open but the official locator says otherwise, trust the official locator or the store’s own phone line.
