MOD Pizza Working Hours 2026
MOD Pizza working hours run 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Wednesday and on Sunday, and 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM Thursday through Saturday at most locations. All MOD Pizza restaurants close on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, but stay open regular hours on nearly every other holiday, including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
So here’s the thing. You’re craving a build-your-own pizza at 9:45 on a Tuesday night, and the big question is whether the doors are still open. I looked into this, because MOD Pizza hours aren’t quite as simple as one flat schedule. The good news? Most locations open at the same time every single day, 10:30 AM, so mornings are predictable. Evenings are where it gets interesting, with Thursday through Saturday staying open an extra hour. And if you’re here for the menu itself, check out the full MOD Pizza menu with prices to plan your order before you go.
What Time Does MOD Pizza Open and Close Each Day?
MOD Pizza opens at 10:30 AM every day of the week, no exceptions at most restaurants. Closing time is where the week splits into two groups.
| Day | Opening Time | Closing Time |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 10:30 AM | 10:00 PM |
| Tuesday | 10:30 AM | 10:00 PM |
| Wednesday | 10:30 AM | 10:00 PM |
| Thursday | 10:30 AM | 11:00 PM |
| Friday | 10:30 AM | 11:00 PM |
| Saturday | 10:30 AM | 11:00 PM |
| Sunday | 10:30 AM | 10:00 PM |
One thing worth knowing: that 10:30 AM open is early for a pizza place. Most pizza chains don’t unlock their doors until 11, so MOD is actually a solid option if you want lunch a little before noon. The ovens are hot and the line moves fast at that hour.
What Are the MOD Pizza Working Hours on Weekends?
Weekend MOD Pizza working hours follow the same split pattern as weekdays. Saturday is the best evening for a late pizza run since restaurants stay open until 11:00 PM. Sunday, on the other hand, closes at 10:00 PM, the same as Monday through Wednesday. If you’re planning a Friday or Saturday night out, you’ve got that extra hour of breathing room, which honestly makes a difference when the group can’t decide on toppings.
Is MOD Pizza Open on Holidays?
Two holidays are hard closures across the chain: Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Every MOD Pizza restaurant shuts down completely on those two days so the crew can be with their families. Everything else? Business as usual, though some locations may trim hours on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve at the franchisee’s discretion.
| Holiday | Status |
|---|---|
| Thanksgiving Day | Closed |
| Christmas Day (Dec 25) | Closed |
| Christmas Eve | Open, regular hours at most locations |
| New Year’s Eve | Open, regular hours at most locations |
| New Year’s Day | Open, regular hours |
| Memorial Day | Open, regular hours |
| Independence Day (Jul 4) | Open, regular hours |
| Labor Day | Open, regular hours |
| Easter Sunday | Open, regular hours |
Do All MOD Pizza Locations Keep the Same Hours?
Not exactly. MOD Pizza has more than 500 restaurants across the US, and many are franchise-operated, so hours can drift a little from the standard schedule. Locations inside malls or airports usually follow the building’s hours. Standalone restaurants in busy nightlife areas sometimes stay open later on weekends. Here’s how to pin down your specific store:
How to Check Your Local MOD Pizza Hours
Official store locator: head to modpizza.com, hit Locations, and search by zip code. Every listing shows that store’s exact daily hours. Google Maps: search “MOD Pizza near me” and the hours are right there under the listing, usually pulled fresh. Call ahead: old school, but it’s the only way to be 100% sure on holidays. The MOD app: the order-ahead app also reflects current store hours, and it won’t let you place an order outside of them, which is a nice built-in check.
MOD doesn’t run drive-thrus, by the way. It’s dine-in, carryout, and delivery. So if your plan is grabbing a pizza without leaving the car, use the app for curbside-style pickup instead.
When Is the Best Time to Visit MOD Pizza?
Honestly? It depends on what you hate more: waiting in line or eating a lukewarm pizza at home. The lunch rush hits from about 12:00 to 1:30 PM on weekdays, when office crowds pile in. Dinner rush runs roughly 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday evenings are the busiest of the week.
If you want zero line, go right at 10:30 AM opening, between 2:00 and 4:30 PM, or after 8:30 PM on weeknights. The sweet spot is mid-afternoon, honestly. The crew isn’t rushed, your pizza gets full attention in the oven, and you might even snag a window seat. One more tip: order ahead in the MOD app and you skip the line entirely, no matter when you show up.
