If you’re looking at the full Checkers/Rally’s menu with prices, you already know it’s one of the cheapest drive-thru stops in America. But here’s the thing: most people pay full price and walk right past a stack of deals. I looked into this, and honestly, Checkers and Rally’s (same chain, same menu, different names by region) run some of the most aggressive value promotions in fast food. Let me walk you through every deal that’s actually worth your time.

📱 How Does the Checkers Rallys Rewards App Work?
Joining the Checkers Rallys app rewards program is free, and it’s where almost every real deal lives. You earn 5 points for every $1 you spend, and every 400 points converts to a $5 reward. That’s effectively a 6.25% kickback on everything you buy.
What members get
Welcome gift. New members get a BOGO any sandwich offer plus a free Big Buford or classic Mother Cruncher (the welcome reward usually lands within 48 hours of signing up).
Birthday treat. Rewards members receive a birthday gift each year, reported as a free small milkshake or a free sandwich during their birthday month.
Referral points. You earn 100 bonus points (worth about $1) when a friend signs up with your referral code and makes a purchase.
Free delivery. Rewards members get free delivery on online orders of $15 or more.
Can’t be bothered with another app? You can still save: text QUICK to 88001 to join the text club, and new text subscribers get a free Big Buford or Classic Mother Cruncher. That’s a free burger for typing six letters.
🎉 How Can I Get Free Fries at Checkers Rallys?
The Friday deal is the reliable way: Happy Fryday hands app members a free large fry with any $1 purchase every single Friday. But there’s more to this story. Checkers and Rally’s are celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2026, and the Fry Love Express, a 43-foot fry truck that’s traveled over 150,000 miles since 2021, has been rolling around the country handing out free Famous Seasoned Fries. The anniversary kicked off with Checkers Day on September 23, including a big Herald Square event in New York City.
🔑 Are There Any Checkers Rallys Promo Codes That Actually Work?
Here’s the honest truth about Checkers Rallys coupon codes. Third-party coupon sites list codes claiming 30 to 50% off online orders, and they expire fast. Some are tested working, many aren’t. They’re meant for checkersandrallys.com online orders, not the drive-thru speaker.
My take? Don’t waste an hour hunting codes that may already be dead. The in-app deals (Happy Fryday, Thirsty Thursday, $3.49 boxes, $1 wings) are official, guaranteed, and usually beat a sketchy code anyway. Some online Checkers Rallys deals are legitimately tested, but always check the expiration date before you build your whole order around one. Use third-party codes only as a cherry on top of an app order, and check the terms, since they typically exclude other discounts and only work at participating locations.
💰 How to Save the Most Money at Checkers Rallys
Want to squeeze every dollar? Here’s the playbook:
The smart-order strategy
1. Always order in the app. The $6.49 double combos, $1 wings, and $3.49 Flava Max boxes are app exclusives. Walk-up and drive-thru guests don’t see them.
2. Time your visits. Fridays mean free fries. Thursdays mean a $2 any-size drink. Plan around the week and you never pay full price.
3. Stack what you can. Points accumulate on every dollar, even on discounted combos, so deal orders still earn rewards toward your next $5 off.
4. Watch for limited runs. The chain drops new promo codes every 2 to 4 weeks, often tied to seasonal menu items like the Bacon Sourdough lineup. Enable push notifications so you hear about them first.
5. Skip the third-party delivery fees. The free delivery for rewards members only applies to orders placed directly on the site or app, so ordering direct with a $15+ cart saves you the markup.
6. Keep a personal list. Keep a running note of which Checkers Rallys deals your local spot actually honors, since franchises can opt out of national promos, and that saves you a wasted trip.
