Mountain Mike’s Working Hours 2026
Most Mountain Mike’s Pizza locations open at 10:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM daily, with many extending to 11:00 PM or midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Hours vary by franchise location, so the Mountain Mike’s working hours at your nearest store may differ. Check the official store locator or call ahead before heading over.
Trying to time your pizza run right? I get it. Nothing is worse than pulling into the parking lot craving that crispy, curly pepperoni only to find the lights off. Mountain Mike’s is a franchise chain with 270+ restaurants, mostly across the western US, and each location sets its own schedule. That means there is no single national timetable. But after looking into this, a clear pattern emerged, and the full Mountain Mike’s menu with prices is worth a look too so you know what to order once you are there.
⏰ What Are Mountain Mike’s Working Hours?
The short version: most stores open mid-morning and stay open until 10 PM. The most common schedule across locations is 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week. Weekends get a little extra time at many spots, especially Friday and Saturday nights when the arcade crowd and sports fans roll in.
Here is what the typical Mountain Mike’s working hours look like, based on published schedules from locations in California, Arizona and beyond:
| Day | Typical Hours | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Standard weekday schedule |
| Tuesday | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Standard weekday schedule |
| Wednesday | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Standard weekday schedule |
| Thursday | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Standard weekday schedule |
| Friday | 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Many locations extend to midnight |
| Saturday | 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Many locations extend to midnight |
| Sunday | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Some locations open at 9 AM or 11 AM |
But here is the thing. Mountain Mike’s is not like a corporate chain where every store runs the same clock. It is franchise-owned, so the owner in your town decides. Some locations open as early as 9 AM. Some do not unlock the doors until 11 AM. I saw one spot in Richmond, California that closes at 9 PM sharp every night, while the Tucson location stays open until midnight on weekends. The 10 AM to 10 PM pattern is the norm, not a guarantee.
☀️ Is Mountain Mike’s Open on Sundays?
Yes. Mountain Mike’s is open on Sundays at nearly all locations. This is a family pizza place, after all. Sunday is one of their busiest days, with families coming in after church or for game day.
Mountain Mike’s opening hours Sunday usually mirror the rest of the week: doors open around 10 AM and close around 10 PM. A few locations open an hour earlier at 9 AM, and some open a bit later at 11 AM. Closing time on Sundays is the standard 10 PM at most stores, earlier than the extended Friday and Saturday hours.
One heads-up: Sunday delivery can get busy. If you are ordering for a Sunday evening crowd, give yourself some extra lead time. The dining room stays relaxed, but the phones and apps light up around dinner.
🎄 Is Mountain Mike’s Open on Christmas? Holiday Hours
This is where franchise ownership really matters, because holiday hours are decided store by store. Here is the general picture:
Holiday Hours at Mountain Mike’s
Thanksgiving: Many locations open with reduced hours or close entirely. If your store is open, expect a shorter day. Thanksgiving is the one holiday where a lot of locations shut the doors so staff can be home.
Christmas Eve: Most locations open but close early, typically around 6 or 7 PM.
Christmas Day: Most Mountain Mike’s restaurants are closed on Christmas Day. A small number of franchise locations may open with limited hours, but do not count on it.
New Year’s Eve: Usually open with normal or slightly extended hours. Great night for pizza.
New Year’s Day: Open with regular hours at most locations.
July 4th, Labor Day, Memorial Day: Open with normal hours at most stores.
Honestly, the safest move for any holiday is a quick phone call. Franchise owners decide individually, and two stores in the same city can handle Christmas completely differently. The official website’s store pages list holiday hours when the franchisee provides them, so check there first.
🚗 Does Mountain Mike’s Have a Drive-Thru? Delivery and Late-Night Hours
No, Mountain Mike’s does not have a drive-thru. It is a family-style restaurant with dine-in, carry-out and delivery. Think arcade games, big screen TVs and big tables, not a drive-thru window.
Delivery is available through the chain’s own online ordering plus third-party partners like DoorDash, Grubhub and Uber Eats. Delivery hours generally match the store’s operating hours, though the kitchen often stops taking orders 20 to 30 minutes before the dining room closes. If you are craving a late-night pizza on a Friday, place that order by 10:30 PM or so to be safe.
Some locations run a weekday lunch buffet with a salad bar, which is a nice midday option. Buffet hours are typically 11 AM to 2 PM on weekdays at participating stores, but this is not a chain-wide program. Not every location offers it, so ask yours.
Late-Night Options
If you need pizza after 10 PM, your best bet is a Friday or Saturday night. Many locations push closing to 11 PM or midnight on weekends. Weeknights after 10 PM get tricky. That is when the delivery apps become your friend, though keep in mind third-party delivery also stops when the store’s kitchen closes.
